Your Hallmark account password is shared across Student Experience Portal, Canvas, Email, and other services.
When you reset your password, you are resetting it across all of these services.
If you already have access to your account and want to change it while logged in, see Changing your Password.
If you cannot access your account and need to reset your password, follow these steps:
Make sure you are at the Office 365 login screen, as shown above. If you are not here, you can go to mail.hallmark.edu.
Click Can't access your account?
Select Work or school account.
On the Get back into your account page, enter your Hallmark email into the field marked Email or Username.
Enter the characters that appear in the picture and click Next. This is a verification done by Microsoft to prove that an actual person is requesting this password reset.
Once verified, you will be prompted to send an code to your personal email address. You should have set this up when signing in with your account for the first time.
Under the prompt that says You will receive an email containing a verification code at your alternate email address, click Email.
You will now receive a code at your personal email address from Microsoft on behalf of Hallmark University. Enter the code in that email into the field and click Next.
You will then be asked to enter a new password and confirm it.
Please note your password must be at least 8 characters in length, and must contain three out of four of the following:
- Lowercase characters.
- Uppercase characters.
- Numbers (0-9).
- Symbols
Once entered, click Finish.
If you receive an error about your password not meeting length or complexity requirements, please verify your password meets the complexity requirements listed above.
Your password for all Hallmark services is now changed to your new password.
